Hi everyone,

I am using blackberry curve 9300 on OS6. I have just upgraded to Facebook v3.3.011. After restarting my calendar entries were wiped. I understand when I made my entries I selected "send using Facebook". Maybe when I upgraded Facebook it deleted everything.

I have important company entries and appointments for everything and I am in despair because I lost it all.

Now the important thing is, am I able to recover the entries somehow? Anyway whatsoever? I didn't back it up sadly.

If not how can I back them up on my computer, I know there is a desktop application. Moreover, next time I make an entry should I use "send using BBM Groups"? Or is there another way in which I just store it on my phone forever without selecting either.

I apologize if I sound ignorant, it's because I am disappointed at RIM.

In Calendar view, open the menu and choose Select Calendar. Is your calendar there?

Being disappointed at RIM or any cell phone maker because you did not follow basic guidelines to insure your data is backed up is foolish. Electronics can fail and social media companys do not consider anything beyond their own needs and Im wondering if the instructions which you probably did not read stated to backup your data first.

You learned the hard way. Hopefully your company does not have a restriction on loading apps on their device. Mine does and it can lead to dismissal.
