Calendar sync option not available for work Gmail account
 
With the recent termination of Google Sync service, I am desperate to find a solution to keep my calendar in sync, especially my work one. I have two Gmail accounts, one for work and the other personal.

My work account has a "companyname.com" domain name and my personal one has just the standard "gmail.com". I currently use BIS to manage my accounts and my carrier is Optus (Australia).

I can see Calendar and Contact sync options for my personal account but not for my work account. My work account only shows the Delete Items options.

I tried going through various forums and support pages but I am kinda stuck.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

knottyrope, I did look that page prior to posting. It works for my personal gmail account.

The issue is the sync option for Calender is completely missing for my work email account. It is like BIS is not recognizing my work email is actually gmail (Google Apps for Business) and thinking its just a standard IMAP/POP email.

does your company have a BES server for Email?

Unfortunately no, we have been using BIS (see my comment above). What I don't get is Calendar sync is already working for my personal Gmail account, but why the option is completely missing for my work Gmail?

GOOGLE is blocking it from BIS so your company is forced to use BES

knottyrope, I had a response from your Google tech partner and they have advise me to speak to my carrier, apparently its something to do with the particular setup of BIS with my carrier.

Our tech guys have been speaking to our carrier and no luck, anyone knows how to contact RIM support directly?

krawcstella, exactly.. just frustrating because we are have been switching to Samsung Android devices because of this problem. I am probably the last handful of Blackberry users..
