Hiya, I have just bought a blackberry curve 9300 and have managed to connect to the wifi.
However, when I go onto Facebook it just pops up with a message saying 'you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan'
This blackberry came from England but I live on the costa del sol so I have a gibraltarian SIM card in it. Is this the problem? Do I have to buy a special blackberry SIM card?

Any help will be much appreciated as I don't have a clue what else could be the problem!

You need to contact your service provider and ask for a BLACKBERRY Data Plan (if they offer that). Otherwise, you will not be able to access data features such as Facebook (even over WiFi).
