8520 camera problems
 

My camera has not been working for some time now. When I try activate it, it gives me a blank screen. Then a message that reads, "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again.", which I've tried doing. I even tried rebooting the phone, but to no avail.
Can someone help me fix this problem. I can not contact bb help services, as they don't exsist anymore, apparently.
Please, let there be someone out there with a solution.

There are too many open applications on the BlackBerry smartphone.
- Close all applications on the BlackBerry smartphone. On the BlackBerry smartphone, display the menu and select Close.

Run the BlackBerry smartphone through the application loader tool.
- It will delete either all data, or all data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone. Back up the data prior to performing the procedure.

If above steps not solved your problem, then
-There is a physical problem with the integrated camera.

Incorrect. It's not a physical problem, and no one should attempt to repair a camera on their own.

Replace the device for one with more memory.
