EDGE/GPRS whatsapp application HELP!!

I changed my GSM to EDGE my contacting ufone call center and activated gprs settings after this i used whatsapp package that ufone is offering but its not working i dont know what to do ..please somebody walk me thorough this! I NEED HELP ASAP!
i have currently edge(small letters) written in top right corner of my BB 9800! what should i do .. i have UFONE and i DONT have BB services updates as i am a pre paid user!

Without a BlackBerry plan Whatsapp - and almost every other BB application - will not work.
You can do voice and SMS text. That's about it.

Are u a citizen of pak... i thnk it shud work its only gprs not any BB service

It doesn't matter of what country he is a citizen. BlackBerry devices work the same worldwide. They require BlackBerry data plans to function properly. I know for a fact Ufone has the required plans, so get one and your device and WhatsApp will work forthwith.

OK, suit yourself. Please contact your carrier in Pak and ask them why it isn't working.
