Hey, i have a blackberry torch 9800 from AT&T here. It came to me with a white screen displaying JVR Error 545. After downloading the BB Desktop Manager and a fresh O.S. to reinstall, it asks for a password when connected to the laptop. Gave me 10 tries, except after the tenth attempt, it did not reset as it should have, the BB Desktop Manager gives me a message saying the connected device has been disabled due to a security violation. Which is why i say the phone has two problems. How can I fix this?

Caveat: I have not been in your situation. I assume you will be able to wipe the device,

I would try JL_CMDER or BBSAK. Wipe it. Load OS.

The message does indicate the password was not entered correct. The information from RIM suggests the BB should be reloaded from a wipe with new OS.
Normally , entering the password wrong +- 10 times wipes the handheld so if it did not try doing it on the BB and reload the OS.
