Unable to clear emmc.
 

Trying to "Clear Data" from device. When I choose "Clear on-board device data" option, I receive an error part way through the process (see attached). If I do not choose that option, the clear finishes without the error.

From what I understand, emmc is built-in memory. Why won't it let me clear it?

Blackberry Tour 9630
Blackberry Desktop Software ver 2.4.0 (17)
Mac OS 10.6
No SD card inserted.

It looks like a memory card error although you said none was installed. Try reading these links for information on memory issues and how to clean it.

I managed to clear the phone, but it still doesn't explain the error.
