Please tell me I am not the only one, anytime i connect my 9810 torch to my iMac i totally lose control over it, I dont know how to sync contacts only, music only etc

Lose control? what exactly happens?

DM is not difficult to use and does work and allow you to be selective on the items you sync.

Read the DM documents and in there you will find answers to the "problem" you have
