Default Email attachments not going through

I have a 9780. I have and use 2 Gmail accounts on the bb. For one of the Gmail addresses, when I forward an email with an attachment, the attachment does not go through (just the body of the email).

If I open the "sent message", the attachment appears in the email, and yet, the recipient does not get the attachment.

Again, this is only happening with *one* of the Gmail addresses that I am using. I also have a 3rd non-gmail address and it forwards attachments fine.

I have tried pulling the battery, resending service books, deleting the misbehaving Gmail address and adding it again. I have tried "Forward" and "Forward As > Email".

Nothing has worked.

This is damn peculiar. Any suggestions . . . ?

I should further qualify the second sentence . . . "If I open the "sent message", the attachment appears in the email, and yet, the recipient does not get the attachment."

This is only true when I view the sent message on the BB. When I log into the Gmail account the attachment does NOT appear with the sent message.

Sometimes different things can cause this issue. This link may offer help.

KB10509-Email messages containing attachments forwarded from the BlackBerry smartphone are received without the attachment

I tried "Resolution 2" a couple of times and it did not work.

I don't use BES, but I did try resending the service books and that didn't work either.

I am a little trepidatious in trying "Resolution 1" because it reads as if all entries in my service book will be wiped. Is this an easy procedure to perform? Do I risk "bricking" my phone if I do something wrong?

It does seem the service books may be corrupted. Try reading this link for additional info and read the info to clearly understand the requirements. Sending service books can easy.

KB05010-How to clear and refresh the service book database if the BlackBerry smartphone is unable to send or receive data.

Well, I followed the instructions above and still no luck. The attachments do not go through when I forward from that one email account.
