How old is your Blackberry 9300? Have you tried software update ?Have you tried a hard reboot of your Blackberry phone? Did your handset get dumped or wet?

If you are still having problems, then it may be caused by a buildup of dirt under the scroll button.

The 9300 has an optical trackpad.

To the OP, has the device been physically damaged? Dropped?

Has the device been exposed to any moisture? Even a little, tiny bit?

Better if you let BB check it, it's hard if the trackpad is damaged. I mean really hard

And how do you let BB check it?

As asked before, did the device get wet, or even damp or was it dropped.
