Speed dial keys locked to O2
Bought a 9320 for my wife, she is not so good with technology and the speed keys are ideal to put friends and family on.

On o2, PAYG, and o2 have taken over 9 of the speed dial keys with their services.

I have used a 9700 for 3 years so can get around a BB ok, but although it is possible to edit normal speed dial keys on the 9320, the O2 service ones do not have an 'edit' on the menu when pressing the BB key.

They cannot be deleted or moved, I have contacted O2 customer service, been to an O2 shop and worn out 3 O2 guru's.

I have tried a factory reset with the sim removed, after which the offending speed dial keys are gone, on re-inserting the sim and booting up they re-apear as before, if I delete them from the sim card they are still there on speed dial and trying the sim in another phone shows that they are still present on the sim.

O2 has hijacked 9 of my wife's speed dial keys - HELP

Re: Speed dial keys locked to O2
Change the contact that is assigned to a speed dial key - BlackBerry Curve 9310/9315/9320 Smartphones - User Guide - BlackBerry Curve Series - 7.1

Re: Speed dial keys locked to O2
Thanks for the reply but the O2 service speed keys are locked, they will not move or delete, I cannot use the keys assigned to O2 for any other number, there are 9 of them.

I have been through the manual, the O2 shop, the O2 guru tech chaps and the O2 customer services, sim out they are gone, sim in they are there.
