Default Media card fatal flaw

Please Login to Remove!

Am getting " Media card cant be accessed due to fatal errors "

Was using a 4gb card for years , needed more storage so bought 32gb.

Updated the OS & installed the 32 gb card. All was well for few days & then got card fatal error.

Switched back to 4gb card & same error.
PC reads cards fine.

Removed phone battery , no change
Tried to have BB repair card, it failed.
Formated card in PC, same error when in BB.

Over air updated phone again , no change.

Nothing visibly wrong with cards or card slot.

Anyone solved this one before ?

Thanks

Can your PC read and write to the card? Have you tried it in another BB?

Was it a reputable brand or a cheap knock off?

The card is a Sandisk brand.

PC reads/writes to card no problem.

Have not tried it in any other BB, do not have access to others.

Have tried 3 other cards in this BB though , all show same error.

The 4 GB was in this BB for years.

Thanks

My thought:

That you tried four microSD cards in the same device and got the same error tells me something is wrong with the slot. I know you said nothing is visibly wrong with it, but that alone isn't enough to rule out a problem.

Sounds like device. Did you say you also reinstalled the OS?

You did not clearly state you tried to format the card "IN" the BB.
