Unhappy stolen phone

Please Login to Remove!

My cell phone was stolen when in France - how do I stop someone using it and my information. I have since switched devices and have a new pin - I still have the pin of the stolen phone, can I wipe it clean etc. When I go to my Blackberry Protect it says no devices connected. Any help or information would be very much appreciated.

Default Re: stolen phone

You need to call your carrier and report the device as stolen. Some carriers will block the IMEI or the PIN, which will make the device useless on the BlackBerry Network.

Report it to the local authorities as well. If your device was password protected, then after 10 attempts the device will be wiped. What model was it?
