Default Unable to purchase apps

Please Login to Remove!

I can download free apps, but am unable to purchase. When I click the app I want to purchase and download, it asks me to sign on with my ID. WHen I do this it returns to screen to choose app. This just keeps repeating. Am unable to enter or change payment options. Help, please.

Have you tried a hard reset? That is, with the power on, remove the battery for 30+ seconds. Then try again.

If the hard reset doesn't work, try clearing the BlackBerry World cache. See KB24714-How to clear cache for BlackBerry World on BlackBerry smartphones and the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet

Try these steps and let's see where you stand.

Thanks Ira. I tried both methods you suggest, but still get no further than choosing the app, using my password, and back to asking for password again. It is very frustrating.

Next step is a security wipe. Or you could do a clean OS reload. Either way, test before you restore data and install apps.

I have worked out the problem, thanks for all who tried to help. The issue had to do with the original setup in the phone which I was using, This has been resolved.
