Lightbulb New Bb User .. Need Bbm Help !

Please Login to Remove!


I recently purchased a bb curve 8900 from ebay and am on a normal contract with vodafone (im from the uk). On my contract i have 200 mins , unlimited txts and 5 Internet Browsing.

When i tried to add my friend via bbm it says .. "Pending(waiting for Authorisation) ????????? i need help so any advice or help is welcome !

You friend needs to approve your request... Also, you need a blackberry data plan.

In the top right, by your signal bars, what does it say? Case matters (edge is not the same as EDGE)

in my top right corner it says gprs (in lower case) ?? and how much does a blackberry data plan cost ? also do i need internet on my contract to use bbm ?

You need to call vodafone and ask for the Blackberry Internet Service to be added to your account.
It will be 5 per month, and will usually replace the 5 Internet Browsing you currently have.

What's the distinction between the two? I've noticed it with both cases (upper/lower) on my phone... I'm on T-Mobile w/ unlimited data plan...

When lower case, you are not connected to the RIM network. You would have carrier data service, but not for blackberry apps (push email, etc)
