Default Removing BBM

Please Login to Remove!

Assumes 6.0.0.524 is the installed OS, but browse to the OS folder on your PC
  • Browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9650AMEA_v6.0.0.524_P4.4.0.438
  • Right Click BlackBerryMessenger.alx and open with notepad
  • Scroll down to the line that says:
  • <required>true</required> and change the true to false
  • <required>false</required>
  • Save and Close

  • Run Desktop Manager 6
  • Click on Applications
  • Scroll to BlackBerry Messenger
  • Click the x under Action
  • Click Apply
  • BBM will be removed
