Messenger gone?
 

Hi. Wonder if anyone can offer advice. My Bold 9700 has lost messenger. It used to be on the home screen constantly running (with the phone, internet and email). Think it disappeared when I updated App World. Obviously I've downloaded it again but it wont open and doesn't appear on the phone except in applications under add on apps. Whilst I don't use messenger I need it to run Ebay & Sky Sport Football Apps - neither of which now work. I have re-booted, deleted and reinstalled App World numerous times and downloaded and deleted messenger several times. Can anyone help please? Thanks. Mark

It may be in another folder. You can move any ICON to any folder.

Also pull the battery to reload the BB. Also look for any hidden ICONS.

Thank you for replying. Its supposed to download to "downloads" folder. However have tried all folders & checked "show all" in each in case it was hidden. I can only assume the phone has some sort of bug in it. Not the end of the world - never used BBM to message but miss the two Apps. In 8 months my 2 year contract is up and I will revert back to Nokia - should never have left :) Thanks again. Mark.
