Blackberry Protect

I have dowloaded Blackberry Protect for my 8520 model. But i am not able to get it connected and keep getting mesage service not available temporarily. Pls help me i want to ensure protection by activating.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
Are you getting a good data signal?
Have you tried a battery pull?
Has it worked previously?
What has changed on the device or with your service recently?
Have you contacted your service provider to see if there is a tower problem in your area?
