Default Impact to T-Mobile users of Cingular acquistion of AT&T? - 10-05-2004, 03:40 PM

Here in California T-Mobile subscribers use Cingular's GSM network. With Cingular purchasing AT&T Wireless, what does this mean for T-Mobile users in terms of coverage areas? Will the Cingular and AT&T networks be combined as one, and if so, will T-Mobile users have access to the combined network?

I would hope so considering the size of the ATT coverage map it would only make sense to merge the coverage? Then again those are my thoughts. You can only hope a merger of such sorts will be to the benefit of all. Cingular, coverage map and roaming agreements...
