Since Sky Broadband made wholesale changes to there email system (7th Nov 2007 to date) I have not received any emails on my BB - has anyone else experienced this problem, if so is there a way of resolving the issue?

Thanks

I don't use Sky Broadband, but you may find you get an answer to your question if you provide more details. Firstly, do you know what they changed? Secondly, how do you access your mail - is it via IMAP? If it's just that they have changed their server's address - for example - it may be that you just need to delete and re-add the account in BIS setup.

Sky Broadband email now operates via Google Mail for enhanced online service (I believe that is the reason!!!). In outlook it required a multitude of changes, both incoming (POP) and outgoing (SMTP) server names have changed, both now require authentication and both ports where changed from their default values. I tried your suggestion regarding deleting and reassigning my account in the BIS setup, I received the standard email on my BB stating that the account is now activated and I should be receiving emails soon - I have yet to receive anything. Bizarrely however I can still send emails???
