Default New network issues?

Please Login to Remove!

One of my servers is now showing a disconnected SRP status and trying to contact support resulted in a few busy signals before finally being able to connect. The network notification still has Friday's message being played.

Anyone else having issues?

Just got off the phone with them. New issues now. The notification number is being updated. All phone traffic is being directed to Desktop and Server support.

Default BB Server Outage

I have confirmed that RIM is experiencing an outage. There is no predicted repair time yet. This outage affects all carriers as it is a connection between the RIM network and client Blackberry Enterprise Servers (I am getting SRP connection errors on my BES).

Hopefully this gets solved soon, as these outages are starting to come more frequently.

Runnin BBSRPTest.exe confirms re-connectivity back to the NA SRP server.

D:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Utility>BBSRPtest

NetworkAccessNode is srp.na.blackberry.net.
Attempting to connect to srp.na.blackberry.net (204.187.87.33), port 3101
Sending test packet
Waiting for response
Receiving response
Checking response
Successful

Makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes up there in Canada though. Could they be trying to test the 'workaround' technology that they are reported to have in place in the event that the NTP court injunction goes into place?

Considering I just got my BlackBerry the other day, I can't say I'm too impressed for $300 + $30 a month (or $50 if I need to go Unlimited)
