Default Blackberry server will not receive email from our SMTP servers

Hi all

can you work this one out.

We have several blackberrys using Vodafone server. we have setup the blackberrys with vodafone instant email accounts and forward emails from our server to the blackberry email address.

however the blackbery server is not accepting the emails from our server .. I have spoken to the blackberry team at vodafone and they say our ip address is listed on SenderBase® The IronPort Security Network as bad so it wont accept the mail.

were not listed on any blacklists and when i use a diferent IP address it works for a while then stops... im running out of ip addresses to use.

In my server logs it simple says connected to blackberry server

When it actualy works it should do this:

Any ideas as im not getting any further with the blackbery team

What is the ip of your mail server? Do you have reverse DNS configured on the IP?

Send an email to [email address]; it'll get to me and I'll look at the mail server log to see if anything looks out of the ordinary.

If you are getting blacklisted by RIM's servers then you will need to talk to RIM's BIS team. They may be able to explain why this is happening.
