Default RIM issues in Asia-Pacific region

Please Login to Remove!

has anyone heard anything?

Preliminary assessment is that a fire on Research in Motion Facilities is intermittently affecting the routing of Blackberry traffic to some international regions. RIM*has verified that the problem is affecting several countries in Asia. They have confirmed that this*problem is*due to outage*of*carrier*network*in Phillipines which routes traffic to Asia. The most recent updates is as follows: There's a network flood due to the outage, there's*confirmation that some*users in some countries can receive messages from the*device, but*cannot send messages due to*packet loss in the network connecting the carriers to the RIM platform.
