Unable to access Https sites on my 8310. My carrier is AT&T, has anyone had success accessing secured sites. Trying to get to htts://web2.dhs.ca.gov/exchange. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

https site are normally no problem. However, some will not allow access from the BB browser. First, check all your permissions on the browser, and if still not, many have found that the Opera Mini browser is more successful at secure sites (such as banking, etc.).

You can find Opera Mini in the Third Party Applications link the FAQ site, Freeware.

Good luck, and welcome to the Forums.

Also navigate Options > Security Options > TLS and make sure the TLS default is set to handheld instead of proxy.

Thanks for the suggestions, I changed the TLS default to handheld, still no connection. I have downloaded OM, however I can't find a way to make this the default browser. OM does not show up as a configuation option, any thoughts?
