Switching Pearl 8100 from Tmobile to Verizon

Default Switching Pearl 8100 from Tmobile to Verizon

I have a Pearl 8100 on a corporate plan with Tmo and use BES. I am leaving company with phone and want to switch to wife's plan which is Verizon (and will use BIS). Am I able able to use my phone, or do I need to use a VZW phone? Any other areas of concern, or ways to optimize my $$$? Coverage is not an issue. Thanks.

no you will not be able to use your 8100. verizon has a pearl 8130 that is CDMA (while your phone is GSM). Two completely different signal types.

Welcome to the forums.

You will not be able to use your TMo phone on Verizon. TMobile is GSM and Verizon is CDMA, two totally different radio technologies. You'll need to get a Verizon phone.
