Post Reg BB Local server configurations

Please Login to Remove!

Hi:

Can i setup BES server in my LAN simulated environment, for this how can i configure the local server.

If possible to do this kind of work...then how can i do this...pls help in this area by providing information for server architectures and its configurations.

My main target is to create some server based apps in the Client/Server Architecture.

At this moment I am able to develop client side apps, those apps can be tested at simulator well.

Now i want to develop Server side apps which can be tested at simulated BES architectures.

Plese let me know...

Thanks and Best regards,
Vijay.

Hi:

I did not get your question. Can you elaborate about Firewall configurations for BES/MDS usage Query.

Actually i am thinking about readymade server, which can act like a local server instead of BES Server. If i get some Readymade server, so that i can configure it according to my LAN Setup.

Pls let me know..

Thank You.

Vijay,

What i mean was, that for the SRP to be able to see the outside world, we will have to enable Port 3101 for the machine that has the BES installed for outbound traffic. This will allow the BES to establish an secure connection to the Blackberry servers.
You can get a trial copy of BES for 90 days. Try to download and play with it.
