I have used the search button and google and the Cisco Search button and The blackberry search button and now i am asking. How do I access my network through my VPN (ASA 5500 series)? I can't find anything about a cisco client for the 8130 and without the vpn tunnel I can't do squat on my network unless there is something I just don't understand here, and that's a big possibility as I was repeatedly dropped on my head as a child. How does one access their network? I know that if I run BES I can use MDS but as of yet we haven't stood one up. It's a small shop and I'm the only guy who needs access to the servers remotely so I don't want to spend a ton to do this. Any thoughts?

AFAIK you can only access vpn's through a BES. It' the only way to get vpn options on a handheld. Someone may know of a different solution, but I've never heard of one.

I do know they have newer small business solutions for BES products (licensed for 5-30 people) that are much cheaper than a full fledged BES.

There is no VPN client for BlackBerry. It's built-in to BES. MDS provides connectivity to your corporate infrastructure.

You can use the BlackBerry Browser to browse corporate intranet. If you installed a Telnet client on your BB you can telnet to an internal server.
