Angry BES 4.1.4 behind ISA2004 (HTTP error 400)

Please Login to Remove!

We have a blackberry server behind an ISA2004 firewall. Blackberry users receive "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" when connecting to HTTPS (SSL) webpages from the blackberry browser.

I tried installing the ISA2004 firewall client on the BES server which fixes the issue but breaks users ability to accept meetings as well as create numerious UDP 514 errors on the ISA server.

I have an outbound rule in ISA set for requests from the blackberry server IP to external is allowed for all protocols, all users and doesn't work. It appears to be a header communication problem. Without a firewall client installed on the server, different ISA rules are applied to the communication for some reason depending on the webpage you go to.

Anyone have this issue? Thanks!
