I recently inherited the responsibility to support a Blackberry site running BES 4.1.3 on a Windows 2000 server synching with a Separate Windows 2003 SBS running exchange. Everything was running properly until they decided to have me upgrade BES to 4.1.4; ever since no one has been able to receive mail on their devices and the only error message I get in the logs is this.

The description for Event ID ( 50091 ) in Source ( Blackberry Controller ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Stopping Blackberry Agent Controller.


I haven't had much luck finding anything on this particular Event ID, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where you logged in as the administrator or BESAdmin when you did the upgrade?
