Red face how do i use PIN?

I was reading about it, but I still don't know what it is or how I change mine...I'm very new to blackberry been looking around here figuring things out and I decided to join. I learned quite a few things, but I can't figure out the PIN thing...some help would be great... Thanx!

You do not change the PIN. It is unique to the blackberry device.

Send PIN messages in similar way as emails from the blackberry; except compose PIN instead, and send to the recipients PIN number.

Blackberry messenger uses PIN also.

Go to options, staus, there's your pin. It can't be changed. It's used for messaging from BB to BB, via pin messages, like email or BB messenger

you can also type mypin and hit space in any text field.

Ok so in order to BB message anyone I need to know their PIN? Or just their email?

2 things though, PIN is recommended, and the email has to be integrated with their device.

B/c that cannot be changed and as long as your contact uses the same BlackBerry device, you would not lose his/her PIN. So s/he should still be within reach.
