Default Using unlocked BB on non-bb network

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, i apologize for asking this as i am not sure if i am in the right area but i have searched high and low for the answer and nothing is clear.

If my 8310 is carrier-unlocked, can i use it on a non-BB carrier (ie.: Fido) and stay connected to my BES Server?

There is a lot of chat about using BIS with Fido and Blackberry Connect, but nothing about BES.

Thanks in advance.

You will need a BES plan from your carrier to connect with your BES server.

Fido's BB Connect does not send the service books for BES so you will not be able to use BES with fido using the BB Connect. But if you want to use BIS you will have no issue at all using the BB Connect on fido
