Welcome to BBF!

Yes, TMobile will charge you for the data at whatever rate you have signed up for in your plan. If you didn't sign up for a plan then you'll be charged per kb.

once again, yday i was on JivaTalk all day, used Gmail n opera little bit. today i called up t-mobile to see if there is any internet charges on my account, she told me that she dont see any internet charges. and noted that on my account as well, so if they appear on my end of the month on my bill. i can have them take it off the charges.. question did any one hit with charges even tho, tmobile representative told you that your account is clear? ( THIS IS WITHOUT DATA PLAN OR ANYTHING)

you will get hit with data charges at the end of the month. the customer service computers dont update in real time; for example, if you talk for a few minutes then check mytmobile.com or dial #646#, recently placed calls will not show up in your minute tally immediately.

check back 24 hours later, and you'll see the minutes accrued.

so yes, you will get hit for data, and no matter what the rep said, if it happened, it happened.

there used to be a "free wap" loophole a few years ago on tmobile... you could access full internet browsing on their wap portal, which meant getting a $20/mo service for only $3.99/mo. that loophole has since been plugged.
