I've noticed that longer emails get truncated.

On your first try, the order of the steps were wrong. On the second try, you missed a step.

So you should delete, readd, and resend service book. Then enable the feature under email setting.

I've found that Empower doesn't seem to play well once accounts are downloading HTML messages (at least on OS 4.5). Also, the viewer portion of AlertMatrix doesn't seem to know what to do with the HTML versions, either.

Same experience here with my Empower trial (is the trial unlimited?) using BIS 2.5 and 4.5 OS. Due to a few other bugs in this 4.5 beta as well as sluggishness, I might be downgrading back to 4.3 and hopefully Empower will work like it used to. Plus I love the color and font display options that Empower gives you

If you have HTML mail enabled on the device, EMV will render blank pages but the standard mail app will render HTML. If you disable HTML through the email settings, you can render with EMV.

Once messages are downloaded in one format, they will not be converted if you change the settings.

I've bounced back and forth between the built-in mail viewer and EMV, and I'm sticking with EMV for now. But it's nice to have (free) options.

Did 2.5 bring any improvements to Gmail / Google Apps accounts?? Two-way sync? Read status sync??

Well html view is not available to BIS users right now.

RIM should get it fixed ASAP.

Working in here as well (Canada - TELUS). Try resending your service books...
