I have a titanium 8320 that was originally from tmo, i'm now living in jamaica and would like to switch carriers so i can use the local carrier. I got the phone unlocked and I can use the local digicel sim, but i can't get the blackberry service activated because i didn't from my tm o service, i jus swapped sims. I don't wanna disconnect my tmo I just wanna use the local service while i'm here

All you should need is a local sim card with a BB data plan on it. Your BB can only be on one carrier's BIS at a time, though.

how do i disconnect the tmo BIS plan without voiding my contract?

You should be able to login to TMobile and remove any email accounts from your email setup. That should free up the PIN to be used on another BIS System.

ok so deleting my email accounts didn't do it but a quick call into tmo and voila.... thanx for all the help guys.
