Dear Forum usres,

I have a question , we would like to deploy a Global Blackberry architecture , but because of Satellite latencies etc we are limited. We also have office where there is no Blackberry service from the local providers and would like to connect via Gprs etc . How do you get around not deploying a BES server per site , and avoiding the latency issues. ?

Please assist

regards

William

If you're dealing with satellite latency, you really have no choice. You need a BES next to each EXchange server. It's not a BES requirement per say, it's the MS MAPI subsystem it uses to communicate with Exchange.
