Angry Do not receive 100% of SMS Messages

Please Login to Remove!

I can't receive text messages from two particular people. One is on Sprint and the other on Verizon. Both have called their tech support which checked to see if the SMS message was leaving their network. Both seem to be sending fine and they don't have this issue with anyone else that they text.

I have been experiencing this with Tmobile since Nov 08. I just upgraded from an 8320 to an 8900 and it is still happening so it doesn't seem to be the phone.

Has anyone heard of this? The tmo support person supposedly "reset" my connections which I believe is reprovisioning the service. This did not help.

ANY help on this would be very appreciated.

Tmo tech support wants me to change out SIM card as next step. After that they said they will put in a trouble ticket with engineering.

I had this problem on AT&T a couple years ago. After several calls to tech support, someone smart enough found that I had a option checked to block text messages from non-at&t phones. They said it was buried in the application and that they didn't see any way that CSR could have easily gotten to that point to select. Just a thought.
