I just noticed when I SMS another Blackberry on Verizon, I'm getting a little D, just like a PIN message.

Yes as long as you are in network you get a d for delivery reciept

And R for read, been like this for a while.

Aww, man, I guess I'm technically in Alltel for this, how sad! Maybe I'll get this feature soon, though it's not a huge deal.
