Default From Sprint to Alltel is it possible - 02-25-2009, 09:17 AM

Hello,

I am an existing Alltel Customer and have access to a blackerry pearl that was used on the sprint netowrk. Is it possible to get the alltel software loaded on the sprint phone? Just hate to see a good blackberry go to waste...

The Operating System software can be installed, but it will be up to Alltel as to whether they will activate a Sprint device on thier network. As they are now part of the Verizon family, I don't believe that they will. You may want to give them a call to find out for sure.

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.

How would one go about installing the software, and branding files?

Thanks,
