Default Java.io.IOException: could not open tunnel - failed - 03-31-2009, 04:05 PM

Im using blackberry JDE 4.7.2 for developing an application.

Im getting this exception:Java.io.IOException:could not open tunnel - failed

The app works fine in the simulator, but when I try to run the app on any device im getting the exception.

I have read that I should set the apn, user and passw in options > advanced > TCP, but how is possible that apps like gmail or twitter works fine in my device without having set up the tcp options.

Any other way to make a http connection ????

Any help on this will be appreciated.

thanks in advance.
danny.

Wirelessly posted (8100™)

You must add Bis network support.
