Default Email Not working properly - 05-02-2009, 11:15 PM

Hi..

I used BB Bold 9000.
I already set up my email account, I use BIS from Telkomsel provider (one of the provider in my country/indonesia).
my email account that i set up to my BOLD is my company email. .......@ocbcnisp.com.

In my company there are two type email services
1. Internal email services, that only can received email from intern company email (......@ocbcnisp.com)
2. External email services, that can received email from all email account not only from our company email.

I don't understand, if i send my company email form my Bold, people (company staff) who don't have external email can not received my email, which mean, my company email that i sent form my Bold can only received by the people (company staff) that have external email services.

Please help with this problem??

because my friends that also use bold don't have this problem.

tks be4

Your company does not allow internal emails come from external to your office mail servers.

Your blackberry uses external to your company mail servers to send emails, even when signed with your company email address.

Your company mail server admin must whitelist RIM's mail servers, if you want to have your setup work.

If you are not completely sure what I am talking about, print this and give it to IT people of your company.

I don't think there is much anyone can do other than the company IT staff. As said above, you really need to talk to them.

Welcome to the forums!

This would seem to indicate that there may be an error in how your IT department set up your e-mail service. As others have suggested, ultimately, they would be the best equipped to resolve the issue.

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.
