Thumbs up bb migration TO NEW sERVER - 06-09-2009, 10:19 AM

HI EVERYONE;
CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME THAT INFORMATION:

i must make a migration of the entire Blackberry.

Server A is hast instaqlled Blackberry Enterprise 4.1.5
we want to use a faster Server,so the New Server will have Same Version of Blackberry, same Users, Same local Database. the only thing is a different Hostname of a new server.

First of all i made a Backup of the Config Database with OSQL -E. on the server B i Installed a New Blackberry and a local MSDE Database....
After that i wanted to restore the Backup but after finishing i see that in the Blackberrymanager i still have MDS URL of the SERVER a. so that can not be the correct way.
Could anyone tell me the right workaround and what i have to notice to make the Migration work.....

[email address]

thanks to all

There is a RIM KB article for a Knife Edge Cut-Over... May want to give it a look over.

BTW, check the BES Admin Corner for similar questions.

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.
