Hi. This question might have been posted before, so I apologize if it was.
I have a Storm with a BB data plan, therefore my data goes through a BIS.
Can I send PIN messages to my son's Blackberry, who only has a GSM plan with his provider ? He can send text messages and make phone calls. Not sure about emails.

Thought he could just compose a PIN message from his BB, much the same as he would a text SMS message. But apparently not. Can you pls confirm ?

Without a BlackBerry Data Plan PIN messaging is not possible.

You have to have a data plan, however, it is virtually free to PIN once you do.

That's like tryinf to cross a toll brige, without paying the toll!?

Could you please explain what is the PIN message, is it SMS, or email, or ?
