Default Blackberry mail in Indonesia - 08-16-2009, 08:22 AM

I wasn't entirely sure where to post this question but I hope I got it right!
I will be going on holiday next week to Indonesia. I am located in the Netherlands and have a Blackberry Bold which I will be taking with me for email purposes only. I am trying to figure out what amount of cost I have to be looking at but it's hard to figure out. I know the total amount per mb send, but how can I make sure that I will not be receiving any attachments or otherwise large emails?

I've already disabled html mails, but last time I checked I still saw an email with attachments showing as 2,7 mb. Not sure if that also means it has actually been received as that much, but I hope someone can point me in the right direction!

Hello Junglefrog,
Here in Indonesia, there are several carriers you can choose, Telkomsel, Indosat, Excelcomindo, and AXIS. Each of them provides various type of blackberry service, you can have it monthly, weekly, or even daily. Payment (pre-paid) can be done by Activation SMS. It is so easy, you don't need to worry. It will cost arround $10 - $20 a month for unlimited BIS access. Just do simple calculation if you want it weekly or daily.

So, welcome to Indonesia and enjoy your holiday..
