Default IOException: Could not find a service book entry for IPPP

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

am a newbie to blackberry application development. I am trying to access my server from a bbclient but am getting a - Could not find a service book entry for IPPP.

I am using an Airtel connection and am appending 2 parameters ";ConnectionUID=WAP2;deviceside=false" to my url.

To give you some background. Before i was appending the deviceside=false, i was getting another IOException with the message "tunnel failed'

I understand that there are already several threads for discussions on service book entry but i couldn't find any help for someone on Airtel.
I've gone through topic - [bbforumurl]1412-cannot-find-service-book-entry-ippp.html

Apologies if i've overlooked something and should've read more.

Your parameter is incorrect. WAP2 != "deviceside=false".

Also, I think you UID is suspect - where did you get this? If your carrier supports WAP2, then the UID is in the service book.

See this article for an example of getting the WAP2 info:

Livelink - Redirection
