Default nextel 7510 and bes - 09-02-2004, 04:43 PM

i know with my 7510 i dont need the bes services like mailstreet and so on to run webviewer and webmessenger.but what am i missing without bes.what can i do with mailstreet service that i cant with just what nextel has to offer.thanks

I have a question on mailstreet and nextel , a search revealed this thread , but i cannot read the link in the second post - can someone post another link or give some direction

The link does not appear to lead to an actual thread, or the thread that was there has been moved or something. Anyways, with Nextel service you basically have an MDS (such as mailstreet), but it is referred to as public MDG, and is provided by the service provider. I believe the only types of programs/apps that are BES related are those that allow control/monitoring of a BES. Hope this helps, and I'm sure someone else will contribute more.
