Default XDAII and MDS

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I've searched till I'm blue in the face but still can't find anything definate on this. Sorry if I've missed something obvious.

Is it possible to use MDS with blackberry services running on an XDA II? I have my Email coming in fine, but whenever I try to browse to the network or the Internet (something which works fine on the 7100s and 7290s we have) it wants to kick in the default GPRS connection and use that.

As I understood it, on the actual RIM devices we already had an active GPRS connection and it uses that to connect to our network via MDS, however I don't seem to be able to access it the same way on the XDA II.

Or (and I hope I'm wrong) is it only Email services it pushes to the XDA?

Any advice welcome.

Thanks!

The XDA II does not run a full BlackBerry Operating Stystem like the Siemens SK-65.

I think that only the BlackBerry E-Mail and Calendar was implemented on that model? I could be wrong. Try calling O2?
