OK, Here is the deal....

I just updated my Desktop Manager and 7100t Handheld to version 4.0. The Desktop is working fine. Now the handheld however is not. I have no Phone option on the home screen. I can't even hit the send key to open the phone option. I can't rec. calls either.

Can someone help please!!!!!!!!!!

Who is providing your blackberry service? Have you attempted a hard reset and possible reload of the 4.0 os?

When you install 4.0 (handheld OS) you must make sure that every option is checked off so that all of the code will load.

Locate and delete Vendor.XML on your C: drive.

Restart Desktop Manager and Application Loader. Make sure all of the options are checked; I'd bet Phone (and Password Keeper) are not checked off.
