Default Outgoing mail server

I have a 7130e which is configured with BES. I also added 2 personal email accounts, one from yahoo and another POP mail.

When I send mail it always uses the corporate BES, even when I reply to mail sent to my personal accounts. For obvious reasons, I don't want my personal mail going through the company exchange server.

How do I send outgoing email without going through the BES? I couldn't find a "Send from account" on my BB.

What carrier? Are you on BIS 2.0 for your personal POP accounts? You should have an icon for each of your personal email addresses configured in the BIS.

Hello try going into the OPTIONS menu on the device and goto MESSAGE SERVICES you should be able to change from DESKTOP to INSTMAIL.

My carrier is Verizon and I am using BIS 2.0. I'm not sure where the icons you are refering to should be. But my email accounts are listed on the BIS website.

I tried changing DESKTOP to INSTMAIL but DESKTOP is my only option.

if desktop is your only option then you odn't have your BIS service books
go back to your Verizon BIS site and send them to yourself

(fyi your options for message services should be desktop; your Yahoo! account and your POP - i have never heard of instmail)
