| how does blackberry network work ? Please Login to Remove! Hi,
I'm a project manager and we are testing the blackberry devices, and configuring network with rim and our telecom company.
Rim doesn't communicate us suficent informations about the manner that "blackberry, the APN, the BES serveur" (our side) and "the noc" (rim's side).
"how the PIN messages are sent (technical informations), from where they go, how, ip adresses..."
"how host routing tables are communicated from rim to our blackberry devices"
So if you have some technical informations about every think that can inform us about all that, thanks to communicate it.
Our blackberry devices work fine, we got the GPRS in capital letters (no problem with simlock).
The firewall of our telecom company is correctly configured (IP adresses, UDP ports, and ICMP).
When we try to send PINs or download the host routing tables, we can see the traffic between RIM and our BB devices (on the firewall).
Bu we can't send the PINs or download the host routing tables.
The APN and the BES servers are on different networks (shall we NAT the communications ? is there any communication between them ?).
Some help or suggestions ?
