Default The ultimate POP/Gmail setup...

Please Login to Remove!

here it is....teh ultimate POP/Gmail setup.....aka email pimpin'.....works best with multiple accounts....

1.Enable POP access in Gmail-from then on.

2.Create a label "Blackberry Sent" in Gmail.

3.Create a filter in Gmail so that anything "from:username@gmail.com" skips inbox and applies the label-Blackberry Sent. Make sure that the address in the "from" field is the same as the Gmail address you're logged into. And don't use the "-" trick.

4.Integrate your Gmail accounts into your BIS using your user name and password.

5.Add that same account as your auto-bcc.
ex.-if you're integrating "bobby@gmail.com" into BIS, then use "bobby@gmail.com" as your auto-bcc for that account.

6. Add a filter to each BIS account so that anything "from:username@gmail.com" does NOT get forwarded to your BB. Make sure that the address in "from" field is the same as the account your editing.
ex.-if you're editing "johnny@gmail.com" in BIS, then use this in the "from" field for your filter.

....and that's it.

....full "sent from" spoofing when composing new messages....
....and a copy of all sent BB mail in it's corresponding mailbox, labeled and archived, and without feedback.

...and 15 minutes ain't long for polling, and if you need a message that fast, perhaps...I don't know...a phone call or SMS?

...what?????

Default

...and just to add....with this setup you can't email yourself, obviously....but you can set up a "dummy" account, and just have that forwarded to your BB....

peace.
